Grants Secured for Projects in the 46th District

$738,030 in Local Share Account (LSA) grants from the Commonwealth Financing Authority (CFA) for five projects in the 46th Legislative District have been secured. These grants address real needs in our communities, from infrastructure and public safety to redevelopment.

Municipalities receiving funds are:

  • Canonsburg Borough – $294,000 to transform a former middle school into a cultural and educational institute.
  • Canonsburg Borough – $225,000 to replace and construct crosswalks on Pike Street.
  • Houston Borough – $94,030 to repair and stabilize erosion of Chartier’s Creek near Houston Ballfield Park.
  • South Fayette Township Municipal Authority – $50,000 to purchase a combination jetter/vactor truck in order to operate and maintain sewage collection and conveyance systems.
  • Washington County Redevelopment Authority – $75,000 to replace a fire panel and install security cameras at Canon Apartments.
