Incredibly, with the Labor Day Holiday right around the corner, this summer is rapidly drawing to a close. And while the summer months are usually reserved for vacations, lounging around the pool, and barbecues with friends, Jason has taken little time to relax. Instead, he has been very busy visiting the communities of the 46th, learning about what issues are important to our citizens, and how he can help make real change a reality across the District.
Over the past several months, Jason has visited thousands upon thousands of households across our communities, and has been overwhelmed not only by the amazing show of support that he has received, but also by the determination and dedication displayed by our citizens, who truly want to make the 46th District a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
In between speaking and working with people across the 46th, Jason also earned the General Election endorsement of the Citizens Alliance of Pennsylvania (CAP), an organization dedicated to Pension Reform and cutting wasteful government spending not only in Harrisburg, but across the state as well. Jason believes strongly that elected officials need to be part of the solution—and not the problem—when it comes to important and vital issue of Pension Reform. As such, Jason has signed a pledge that, if elected, he will not take a state pension or wasteful per diems, incentives that are directly funded by the hard work, efforts, and money of Pennsylvanian taxpayers.
Additionally, on July 20th, Jason hosted a “Homestyle Italian Dinner Night” at VFW Post 6553 in Slovan, PA. We had an amazing turnout and show of support for Jason at this event, and it was yet another great opportunity for citizens across the District to learn more about Jason’s plans to help improve life across the 46th.
Finally, Jason took a little time off from the Campaign Trail and participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge; check out the video below!
